Sheraton Bahrain Hotel marked World Environment Day in association with Public Commission for the Protection of Marine Resources, Environment and Wildlife.

The topic of the presentation was Why Should We Be Environment-Friendly? Commission representative Rehan Ahmed spoke on climatic changes, deforestation, melting ice glaciers and the necessity of being environmentaly friendly. Sheraton Bahrain vice president and area director Karlheinz Aumann said the hotel was keeping the guests abreast of environmentally-sensitive issues.
