One of the kingdom’s leading pet stores has linked up with a veterinary clinic in Manama to offer a one-stop shop experience.
Pet Arabia, a popular chain that provides the island’s dogs, cats, hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits and birds with a range of nutritious food products, accessories and everyday medicine, recently opened its fourth outlet on Tails Veterinary Centre’s premises.
Abdulrahman Salah Al Khan, the managing director of Pet Arabia, believes that being attached to a clinic will make pet owners’ life easier.
He said: “I noticed that there aren’t any shops in Manama geared for pets. We have outlets in Riffa, Amwaj and Sanad but most of the pet stores in Bahrain are in Budaiya or Hamala. I wanted to open a shop in Manama to reach all our customers and collaborating with Tails offers them the convenience of having everything under one roof.
“Pets can get their consultations and vaccinations at the clinic and then pop into our store for the essentials including pet food, toys, and everyday medication such as ear mite solution or tick and flea treatments. We also provide grooming services which can be booked directly with us or through the clinic.”
The pet store is open daily from 9.30am to 7.30pm and the grooming service is only available on Thursdays.
