AL HAWAJ joined in with the Formula One frenzy by launching what it believes is a winning series of fragrances. Whilst driver Lewis Hamilton was taking the plaudits on the race track fans were being offered a whiff of success with the launch of the Mercedes-Benz VIP Club.
It is the first perfume collection created by five master perfumers which includes Energetic Aromatic by Annie Buzantian, Pure Woody by Harry Fremont, Black Leather by Honorine Blanc, Infinite Spicy by Olivier Cresp and Addictive Oriental by Alberto Morillas.
A launch event was staged last week at the Four Seasons Hotel under the patronage of German ambassador to Bahrain, Sabine Taufmann, who attended alongside numerous dignitaries, members of the media and VIP guests.
Al Hawaj chairman and managing director, Jawad Al Hawaj welcomed everyone and Al Hawaj general manager, Abdul Wahab Al Hawaj unveiled the perfumes.
Graeme Newport, general manager of Al Haddad Motors, the authorised distributor of Mercedes-Benz in Bahrain, also delivered a speech. Also present on the occasion were Al Hawaj officials including Shyam Narayanan, operations manager, Shaker Abdulla, division manager and Hazem Elrazek, retail manager, together with brand and shop managers, as well as Al Haddad Motors executives.
