Gulf Weekly F1 Scramble winners spotted

The team of Jason McNamara, Adrian Duffy, Niall Patton and John Corbett narrowly won the Royal Golf Club’s annual F1 Scramble golf tournament with a nett score of 64.4.
 
Paddy Gallagher and playing partners Rob Addison, Jeremy Leyland and Bill Lindsay came a very close second with 64.5 nett while the mixed team of Murtuz Zamanly, Ashley Price, Danielle Sheppard and Hanne Hansen took third place with 64.7 nett.
 
Nearest the pin side contests on holes 7 and 12 were won by Patton and Shaikh Rashid Al Khalifa respectively.

More than 55 competitors, both local residents and those visiting Bahrain for the 2015 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix, took part in the popular Texas Scramble tournament which featured checkered pin flags to celebrate F1 weekend.

The prize presentation will take place at a members’ evening on May 1.

Results: 1st Jason McNamara, Adrian Duffy, Niall Patton & John Corbett (nett: 64.4), 2nd Paddy Gallagher, Rob Addison, Jeremy Leyland & Bill Lindsay (64.5), 3rd Murtuz Zamanly, Ashley Price, Danielle Sheppard & Hanne Hansen (64.7). Nearest the Pin: Niall Patton (hole 7); Shaikh Rashid Al Khalifa (hole 12).
