Saturday (May 23)
International Museum Day will be celebrated today by free entry to all of the kingdom’s museums, including the Bahrain National Museum which will organise free boat trips to the Pearling Heritage Trail Visitor Centre at Abu Maher Fort.
The public are invited by Bahrain’s Authority for Culture & Antiquities to enjoy the many historical, educational and art exhibitions being showcased now throughout the kingdom’s museums, such as the American temporary ‘Kalila and Dimna: Fables across Time Exhibition’ and ‘Sicily of the Leopard Exhibition’ at the national museum.
For those interested in finding out more about ancient Bahraini history, Bahrain Fort Museum is organising a series of shows as part of its Bahrain Through the Times exhibition. 

Every Saturday, JJ’s Irish Restaurant, Adliya, hosts a Ball of Fame Billiards Tournament where participants must pot the ball to win prizes. Registration time is from 1pm-2pm and tickets cost BD6.

New fitness and leisure activities have been launched for both ladies and children at the Royal Golf Club’s country club on Monday nights.
There are Baby Clay, Baby Sensory, Little Rhymes and Bricks for Kidz classes while older children can enjoy basketball, football, mixed martial arts, swimming classes and ballet. Ladies can now sign up for new Hatha Yoga, Odaka Yoga, Kangoo Jump or Belly Dancing classes.
All classes are open to the public with prices starting from BD4 per class for members and BD5 per class for non-members.
