Gulf Weekly Club marks end of busy season

More than one hundred members and guests attended Awali Golf Club’s annual Presentation Dinner-Dance at the Bapco Club.

The event was organised by Kerry Diaper and the evening was enjoyed by all at the end of a busy season at the club.
Captain Abdul Elah Fakhroo applauded the support that he had received throughout the season from all the members and then proceeded to award trophies and prizes to winners of the club’s matchplay competitions and to the season-long aggregate series.

Certificates were also presented to those who had achieved ‘holes-in-one’.

Eid Adel Al Kawari was acknowledged as the club’s most improved player. He started the season playing off 26 and ended the season playing in the Bahrain Open off a handicap of 9.
