Juice ginger

I personally love the taste of ginger in food and drinks. But because it’s not always available in my kitchen or I buy it and forgot to use it; or I can’t be bothered to buy a big piece just to use a slice, I end up not using it as often as I would like.

So here’s what I started doing recently. I buy a big amount of fresh ginger root, peel it, and juice it in the juicer. I then use the concentrated juice instantly for any dish or drink. Or, better yet, I freeze the juice in ice trays and keep it for future use.

The frozen ginger juice cubes can be added at any time to hot water to make ginger tea, to soups, or to any curry dish to make it more exciting. Want to try?
