The Bahrain National Museum is holding an interactive exhibition using stories from the famous collection of fables, Kalila wa Dimna, bringing to life the characters, their relationships and lessons. The event will run until September 30.

Tomorrow (September 3)
JJ’s Irish Restaurant’s resident band The Noise returns to the Bahrain stage after a year-long hiatus and will play a first show tonight at the Adliya venue from 9pm.

Auditions are being held for a pantomime performance of Robin Hood and His Merry Men today. They are for children only and will also feature an extra drama workshop. This will take place from 3.30pm-5pm in the Windsor Room of the British Club of Bahrain, Um Al Hassam.

The first race of the season will take place at the Ritz-Carlton Bahrain Hotel & Spa on Friday, September 18, and it will be a new ‘Water Run’. Entries are open on the Bahrain Road Runners website and will close on September 14. Adults will start at 9am with a 5km run. The entry fee is BD5.

Children aged five to 14 will run 1km and it will cost BD3 to enter. All participants will get a T-shirt to mark the occasion.

The Mövenpick Hotel Bahrain will be hosting numerous promotions throughout September.

The Bahrain Rugby Football Club, Janabiya, is hosting a touch rugby tournament on Friday from 4pm. Teams must represent their country of origin or adopted country, and the matches will be seven-a-side from a maximum squad of 12.
