Al Hawaj Holiday Shopping Bazaar is taking place in Hall 2A of Bahrain International Exhibition Centre in Sanabis until Saturday.

St Christopher’s School Junior School Production Club will be performing Shrek at 6pm in the Saar campus’ main school hall.

The Manama Theatre Club is hosting an informal social evening of humorous short plays and sketches entitled ‘Curry, Chips & Comedy’ at the British Club of Bahrain tonight and the Dilmun Club tomorrow. A new exhibition has opened at the Bahrain National Museum, celebrating the strong civil and military aviation heritage between Bahrain and the United Kingdom.

The centrepiece of the exhibition is an iconic Supermarine Spitfire, which first flew 80 years ago. The exhibition runs until October 23.

Friday (May 27)
The Manama Singers are hosting two events at the British Club of Bahrain today and tomorrow. They will perform a ‘Swing into Summer’ concert featuring jazz classics from 6.30pm on both evenings, while tonight they will stage a Disney Favourites Show from 4pm.

The Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay’s re/Asian Cuisine restaurant has launched its new Dim Sum Saturday Brunch, featuring fresh dim sums, dumplings and wontons.

The menu features more than 20 items from a curated menu such as wonton soup with fresh prawn dumplings, wok fried shrimp dumplings, Peking duck rolls, wild mushroom-filled vegetable dumplings, Korean fried bao buns and short rib and brisket wontons.

Beside a vast selection of fried rice and hand-made noodles, the brunch menu offers lavish desserts too, prepared by Executive Pastry Chef Pierre Chambon.

The Downtown Rotana in Manama is putting on a show for its first Ramadan offering. The hotel’s Al Maha Ballroom will feature traditional local delicacies and international cuisine, juices and desserts for BD14++ per person.
