The Royal Country Club’s Summer Sports Camp will take place from 9am to 12.30pm on Sundays to Thursdays from July 10 to 21 and is open to all children aged between three and 14. The cost is BD75 per child for one week or BD135 for both weeks, inclusive of all activities and a light snack, and there is a sibling discount available.

Bollywood Steps Dance Studio is organising a dance and fitness camp for children from July 10 to August 31 at Ramli Mall in A’ali and at Somerset Al Fateh in Juffair. Children will learn some Bollywood moves and participate in a stage show. To sign up for 24 classes it costs BD100 and for 12 it’s BD60. Transport services are available at an additional cost.

The Berlitz Bahrain Summer Camp will run from July 10 to August 30 and provides children aged five to 15 with a range of activities such as learning a new language, taekwondo and art and cooking classes. It’s organised by Berltiz Bahrain and Bodyline Fitness Centre and the activities will take place between their locations in Budaiya and Saar. The prices vary depending on how many days and activities kids sign up for. One week is priced at BD60 and a month costs BD200.

Keep the kids entertained with a summer camp at ART Rotana on Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday from 9.30am to 3pm at BD18 net for children aged six to 14. They can splash around in the waterpark or take part in arts and crafts. Lunch is also included.

ART Rotana also offers swimming lessons Saturday to Wednesday from 5.30pm to 6.30pm at BD10 per lesson.

ART Rotana Running Club is also taking on Amwaj Islands, starting from the Lobby entrance. Meet before 5.30pm on Wednesday, 9.15am on Friday and 5.30pm on Saturday. Hotel guests and Beach Club members register for free, guests pay BD5 to join for the year.

The Ministry of Culture’s Ramadaniyat Souq at Bab Al Bahrain is open to families until July 6, supporting home-grown businesses in a market-style atmosphere. The Souq will feature a variety of stalls including Bahraini goods, clothing and photography. An array of cultural activities will be staged from 9.30pm to 12.30am.

The Bahrain International Property Exhibition, BIPEX 2016, will take place on November 3-5 at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre.

An exhibition continues at the Bahrain National Museum celebrating the strong civil and military aviation heritage between Bahrain and the UK.

The centrepiece is a Supermarine Spitfire, which first flew 80 years ago. The exhibition runs until October 23.

The Gulf Hotel Bahrain has launched its ‘biggest ever’ Dine & Win competition across all of the property’s 16 outlets offering guests the chance to drive away with an Infiniti QX 70 after spending a minimum of BD20. The draw will take place on November 20.
