Duo’s delight under the lights

Ahmed Mohamed Ahmed and playing partner Khalifa Al Merisi won the third competition of the Coca-Cola Monday Madness Night Golf Series at the Royal Golf Club with a nett score of 31.75.

Bahraini golfers dominated the two player scramble competition which saw the duo of Yousef Janahi and Saud Al Sherif claim second place with a score of 31.875 nett and the pairing of Ali Al Kowari and Ali Mohamed Al Hakam come third on 32.125.

A gent’s longest drive side contest on hole 12 was won by Daij Khalifa and the ladies longest drive on hole 18 was claimed by Samantha Hill. A prize presentation ceremony was held the club’s Members’ Lounge with Adam Dutson, the Royal Golf Club’s tournament coordinator, on hand to present the prizes on behalf of the sponsors.

The Coca-Cola Monday Madness Night Golf Series competitions take place at the Royal Golf Club every Monday evening. The 9-hole competitions are open to nonmembers at a cost of BD20 per night and tee off with a 6.30pm shotgun start.
