The Bahrain Authority for Culture & Antiquities is setting the stage for the 44th edition of its Fine Arts Exhibition, to be held in the beginning of 2018, by announcing an open call for local residents to register and take part.

Registration is open from now until December 15 and participating artists must be aged 18 or over as of January 2018, and that all entries must be original and no more than 12-months-old from the opening of the exhibition. The competition is limited to three entries per artist, and only one for installations and video.

The Sri Lanka Club, one of the oldest social clubs in Bahrain is hosting a musical celebration for its 39th anniversary. This year, Marians, one of the most prolific chart-topping bands in the history of Sri Lankan pop music, will be in Bahrain to perform.

It will be held at the Bahrain Keraleeya Samajam Diamond Jubilee Hall on the November 3 from 7.30pm.
