Big-hearted players will be stepping out onto the field this Friday as The Rotary Club Manama hosts its ‘Kick For A Cause’ 6-a-side charity football tournament to raise awareness of child-related conditions such as autism, diabetes and other disorders and much-needed funds.
The event will take place at the Bahrain Rugby Football Club on Friday, from 3pm onwards, with 16 teams signed up to play on the day.
“We’re very excited to raise some funds and do something productive for the local community,” said the service group’s incoming president, Chetan Bhatia, who is the organising chairman for this year’s tournament. “This is our biggest event of the year, and with this tournament we are focusing on supporting charities that provide support to children with disease.
“There is always more work to be done in Bahrain, and it’s good to give something back to the community.”
The tournament promises fun and entertainment for the whole family.
