A new high-rise apartment building offering a ‘quality lifestyle’ on the edge of bustling Juffair has been unveiled, boasting Bahrain’s largest landscaped waterfall.

The water feature inside Fontana Suites measures four metres tall by 16 metres wide and cascades from a 25m infinity pool edge into a plunge pool where residents and guests can relax and enjoy the calmness created.

Additionally, they can enjoy the spaces behind the fall, to capture and enjoy the beauty and serenity of the landscape, its architects suggest as they endeavoured to create a ‘haven of tranquility’ by pivoting on leafy green plans to enhance the outdoor experience.

“We’re extremely proud of this project as it was founded by Bahrainis that worked on design, marketing and construction,” said Eman Al Mannai, sales & business development manager at Royal Ambassadors, the project managers.

“The Fontana Suites offers high quality designs and unique artificial waterfalls for the enjoyment and use of all residents. Having been in this sector for many years, we believe that Fontana Real Estate provides the best quality and best service facilities in the Kingdom of Bahrain, while continuing to innovate and deliver the best to all our customers.”

It is the company’s third project in the Juffair area and the result of a partnership between Kooheji Contractors who were responsible for its construction.

Described as a ‘new, trendy and modern landmark unlike anything ever launched in Bahrain before’, the building encompasses 373 units, from studios to one, two and three bedroom suites.

Fontana Suites comes equipped with a variety of amenities including an indoor swimming pool, fully-fitted gym, Jacuzzi, along with a dedicated yoga space. In addition, the building provides its residents with a cinema room and a multifunction hall for special events such as weddings and corporate gatherings.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, CEO of the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA), attended the official opening last week and said: “I would like to congratulate all the officials of Al Kooheji Company and, in particular, Abdulghafar Al Kooheji, on the opening of the modern Fontana Suites which will provide a luxurious experience.”

He believes that projects of this magnitude help create ‘an attractive environment’ for local and international investment, and added: “RERA is committed to provide all necessary support to real estate projects and the beneficiaries of its services, and I would like to wish Al Kooheji Company success in existing and future projects.”
