Gulf Weekly Motoring on for training accolades and development

Al Haddad Motors has held an awards ceremony at its Tubli showroom honour the recipients of intensive training accolades.

Nicholas Powell, regional sales manager at Daimler and Warren Hudson, GM of Al Haddad Motors, presented talented trio – Bryan Logue, the certified sales manager, Christopher Dean, the certified showroom manager and Fatima Alawami, the certified sales consultant – with their certificates.

The applicants all attended training courses to widen their knowledge on the company and its products and faced a series of examinations, assessments and role play challenges.

The Mercedes-Benz courses look into ways of improving efficiency and helping team members become better at their jobs.

Managers, for example, are assessed based on their ability to delegate and provide their employees with direction on how to achieve their objectives and strategies.

They were also tested on how they promote diversity, growth and learning within the workforce.

Another major field in which they are assessed in is how they manage and align their plans to meet new market and customer requirements.

Bryan and Christopher only received the status after fulfilling all the requirements and assessments.

Bryan said: “I’m proud to be the first sales manager at Al Haddad Motors to receive the prestigious Mercedes-Benz certified manager status and also proud that there is a drive from the workforce to receive the certified status as well.

“Several of the policies and procedures from these courses have already been implemented at Al Haddad Motors and not only do they help in efficiency they also help in the measuring performances.”

The Mercedes-Benz certified sales consultant course also looks into product development, brand knowledge as well as ways to improve customer communication skills and teamwork.

Fatima said: “This course has had a very positive impact on my professional life. I’m now more confident when dealing with customers and with the information that I provide them with.”
