Gulf Weekly American brand makes debut

Global Lifestyle label, Urban Outfitters, has made its debut in the Middle East with its first venue opening in Dubai Mall tomorrow.

The Philadelphia-based brand will boast a 10,000sqm retail space showcasing an extensive range of products spanning across four key categories including women’s fashion, men’s fashion, home, and lifestyle.

The retailer features designers such as BDG, Champion, Fila, Urban Renewal and more.  There will be a well-curated mix of fashion and accessories that range from seasonal edits for a first-look into the latest trends, to intimates and swimwear along with a collection of hand-picked vintage clothing.

The new outlet will also boast an array of home and interior products to stay cosy including bedding, tapestries, rugs, art and décor. There is a music and entertainment collection as well including vinyl, books, instant and analogue cameras, tech accessories, games and gadgets.

Along with dedicated areas for each product category, the space is further divided into key seasonal trends and permanent collections to include a ‘graphic tee house’, which showcases a variety of much-coveted printed t-shirts, an exclusive ‘BDG denim shop’ for the brand’s best-selling styles and an ‘Urban Renewal’ display of vintage and clothing that has been remade using recycled fabrics.

There are currently more than 200 stores in the US, Canada and Europe. Perhaps the brand will set its sights on opening a store in Bahrain next.
