Men and women living in the kingdom, that are struggling to maintain healthy and hydrated looking skin due to humidity, sand storms and other elements, are turning to Anne Semonin’s  treatments at the Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay.

The five-star property has unveiled seven luxury made-to-measure treatments at its stunning spa created to cater to clienteles differing skin types.

Nicolay Dimitrov, director of Spa at the hotel, said: “Anne Semonin is an internationally admired brand with years of expertise in creating customised solutions and products to suit different skin types.

“We invited guests to explore the carefully-created range of treatments this summer and escape the heat in the beautiful surroundings of our property while pampering themselves to ingredients that are proven to refine, sooth and purify the skin.”

The swanky product launch, which was held at The Spa premises over the weekend in the presence of invited guests and members of the media, featured a presentation by Anne Nguyen, the pioneering French skincare brand’s marketing and product development director. She flew in from Paris to discuss the 35-year-old brand, its range, treatments and experiences using the beauty line.

“The brand specialises in a made-to-measure approach because for Anne Semonin, one size cannot fit all,” explained Anne. “After a skin analysis, a therapist will explain to the client what her skin needs and will advise about the best product combinations to use. Every skin type is different. Our products are made to be mixed together to create personal beauty lines adapted to the moment.”

According to Nadia Swart, international trainer for Anne Semonin, every step is customised to what the clients skin needs at that time as skin changes throughout the year. That just means that guests will never have the same facial twice.

The collection of products and treatments at the hotel includes two facials — a BD75, 75-minute Super Active Cryo Time Freeze and a BD85, 85-minute Precious Pearl Ultra Lift Facial. There are also two wraps – a 60-minute Pure Detox Spirulina Wrap Experience for BD85 and a 90-minute Intense Cooling Ritual for BD85. The two express treatments include a 30-minute Precious Pearl Scrub for BD39 and a 30-minutes Exquisite Miracle Eyes experience for BD35. There is also a face and body ritual called Precious Pearl Ultimate Experience for 120 minutes and costing BD145.

Anne Semonin’s best-selling products are also available such as the Youth Radiance Elixir, a lightweight anti-ageing serum containing hyaluronic acid, apricot kernel oil, Madonna lily leaf cells and rose leaf cells that together create immediate plumping and long-term anti-wrinkle effects.

Clare Bromilow, newly appointed director of public relations and communications, said: “We are the third property that has launched the brand and we are honoured and privileged to carry such a well-known skin care brand. “The great thing about this brand is that it features rich ingredients as well as combines trace elements and essential oils.

“We chose to work with them because for Four Seasons we always believe in creating tailor made experiences and products.”

After the launch, guests were invited to sample the facials and treatments.
