The Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) welcomes Bahrain to the fourth annual Sea Festival, which will be held at Marassi Beach, starting from Thursday until November 16. This year’s edition of the Sea Festival will include a live on-stage performance, as well as a number of activities for visitors of all ages including water sports, boat rides, traditional music, handicrafts and pearl merchants. There will also be plenty of entertainment during the Festival including a museum, outdoor cinema and an interactive play area for kids.

“We are proud to organize the fourth edition of the Sea Festival, one of the most-anticipated festivals held as part of the BTEA’s calendar of events, which work towards promoting the Kingdom as a unique tourist destination as well as strengthening relations between the public and private sectors. These annual events all aim to further develop the national economy and elevate the Kingdom’s position as a tourist attraction to support the Economic Vision 2030,” commented Chief Executive Officer of BTEA, Mr. Nader Khalil Al Moayyed.

Since the launch of Sea Festival, this annual event aims to celebrate the close ties throughout the ages between the people of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the sea, by showcasing several sea related traditions and activities. In addition, the Festival aims to be a platform to generate awareness and educate visitors and tourists about the Kingdom’s rich history with the sea.
