AN Italian cultural festival opens next week with an array of art exhibitions, operas, film screenings and concerts held at various venues throughout the kingdom.

Award-winning, Italian-born pianist Cristiana Pegoraro returns to Bahrain on November 3 to play poolside at the Novotel Al Dana Resort.

Wednesday (October 24) • The Pakistan Embassy brings Pakistani pop, bhangra and folk singer Abrar ul Haq to take centre stage at the Bahrain International Exhibition Centre in Sanabis as part of the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) festival. Show begins at 5pm. Entry is free. Visitors have to bring along their CPR cards.
