Dear Stan, A five star deluxe hotel has allowed men to surreptitiously invade its all female spa enclave unbeknown to (most) of its female members.

A spa-going friend of mine told me that one lady was shocked to find a man in the shower cubicle next to her in a strictly woman only area.

Not only that, but two female security employees were standing outside the shower cubicle chatting and laughing with the man and failed to inform the unsuspecting ladies in the shower/steam/sauna/pool that there was a man in the next cubicle. Apparently this is not the first time that men have been found wandering around this no-go area.

Correct me if I am wrong but I don't think husbands of pious and normally hijab clad ladies would be too pleased to think their wives, daughters and sisters were wandering around sans hijab (and most other garments) where there were men lurking around the corner or in the next shower cubicle.

I wonder did the General Manager ever get to hear about this from his Spa Manager?

Concerned spa frequenter,

Bahrain.

Dear Stan,

I read GulfWeekly on a regular basis and would like to say that my peers and I are thrilled to read it each Wednesday.

Recently, I had made a trip to Dubai and I must say, though they have quite a larger number of publications - both daily and weekly, there was nothing that had a personal touch.

So, I would like to add how relieved I am that I am back here and can cuddle up with my hot chocolate and GulfWeekly before switching on to Grey's Anatomy. Cheers.
