It's little wonder that Britney Spears is falling apart when the people around her are as bizarre as can be.
It appears her lawyer came up with an innovative (if somewhat random and pointless) defence recently when she was called in to explain why the popstress had failed to show up to yet another court-ordered drugs test.
Lawyer Ann Kiley's argument was that Britney had received calls about the test as early as 8am and that pop stars don't get up the early. It seems she even 'petulantly' told the judge: "You're not a pop star with a number one album, so you don't know".... Errr, ok then.
