Make sure you take your multivitamin and get some extra vitamin C to strengthen your immunity to help you fight off the cold and flu viruses doing the rounds. Taking a twice weekly bath with lemon and lavender essential oils can help boost your immunity.

Take Echinacea supplements and drink hot fresh ginger tea. Slice up a fresh ginger root and boil it in some water for 5 minutes. You can add some tea leaves to this or drink it alone.

Mix it with fresh lemon juice and a generous spoon of New Zealand's Manuka Honey (powerful natural antiseptic/antibiotic properties) to help a sore throat. It makes a great comforting bedtime drink too.
