WOULD you pay a million dollars to meet, mingle and play with some of the world's greatest soccer stars on a holiday to remember in Bahrain?

Fans of Italian giants and current Champions League champions AC Milan will have the chance of meeting their heroes at the Ritz-Carlton Bahrain Hotel & Spa this summer.

At a staggering BD377,000 hotel bosses are confident the package will appeal to "diehard football fans" ... but travel experts believe the packages are more likely to be snapped up by corporate giants willing to splash out to impress their soccer-loving clients.

Among the stars booked to attend from the San Siro Stadium is Dutch international Clarence Seedorf.

"AC Milan is undoubtedly one of the best football clubs in the world and there is already keen interest in this unique package," says Francesca Barba, director of marketing for The Ritz-Carlton.

"This personal and private access to these living legends is an experience of a lifetime for many loyal fans."

British travel writer Mark Humphries told GulfWeekly: "Football is big business and the top clubs in Europe have waiting lists of companies wanting to secure corporate packages which include meals at home matches and the chance to meet the star players.

"Going on holiday with them is a novel idea and is sure to attract interest. If the deal is right companies will be willing to pay the price.

"What's a million dollars if a multi-million dollar contract can be won?

"The big teams like the Milan giants, Spain's Real Madrid and the Premiership's Manchester United and Arsenal have supporters across the world - and it would be hard to turn down a corporate jolly if you could tell your friends you're off on holiday with Seedorf, Ronaldo, Ramos or any of the game's super stars!"

For three days in July, AC Milan's midfield maestro and his teammates will stage private football clinics as well as meet, greet and eat with the fans.

The 'Million-Dollar (BD377,000) Football Legends' package includes the following privileges:

A three-day football clinic with AC Milan players.

A hosted VIP corporate party (up to 200 guests).

One business breakfast (up to 20 guests) or a private dinner (up to 20 guests) with the famous players.

Ten nights in luxurious, beachfront villas (up to a maximum of five villas).

Chauffeured limousines to deliver guests from the villas to the football clinics.

Personal butlers.

Epicurean delights personally prepared by the executive chef.

Commitment of the entire Spa facility for one day with selected signature treatments.

The deadline for booking the special package is March 25 and availability is limited.
