The developers of Diyar Al Muharraq, one of Bahrain's biggest mixed-use residential urban developments, have taken to the road to promote the project.
Ten London-style cabs provided by the Arabian Taxi Company have been painted bearing its logo and slogan 'Tomorrow is being crafted today'.
"The design of the cabs reflects Diyar Al Muharraq's focus on high quality architectural designs which are inspired by Bahrain's deep-rooted culture and heritage," a spokesman said.
Diyar Al Muharraq consists of various housing options aimed at meeting the demands of Bahrainis across all income groups. The project has a mix of residential and commercial properties with housing loans for over 120,000 people in around 30,000 housing units.
It will be the first development in Bahrain to offer 40 kilometres of waterfront to include walkways, sea-facing parks, sandy beaches and a marina with a waterfront promenade.
