To prepare for the 'live' telecast of American Idol's season eight finale on May 21, Star World presents a special two-day marathon.
Airing over the weekend from 2pm to 11pm on Friday and Saturday, the back-to-back episodes will retrace the journeys of season eight's two remaining finalists.
This super-sized Idol Marathon will give fans the chance to recall each star-making performance, soul-stirring vocal and shocking surprise.
Whether it was Alexis Grace's early ousting, Adam Lambert's heartfelt rendition of 'Mad World' or the judges' decision to save underdog Matt Giraud from elimination, American Idol's latest season has sparked plenty of buzz.
Star World viewers will also be among the first to learn who will be pop music's next superstar. As the two remaining singers face their final showdown, fans can catch their make-or-break performances on Star World's direct-off-satellite telecast on May 20 at 2pm.
Star World will also deliver a 'live' telecast of the two-hour American Idol finale on May 21 from 4am (with repeats at 2pm & 8pm).
