Dear Stan, WE_support the Jones family. Be strong, hang on and soon all of this will be over. Just keep the faith.
I just read that Rebecca was finally given the chance to see Adam again. It's really heart-breaking ... but it's a good sign though. At least the situation is getting better.

I truly feel sorry for the Jones family for having to go through such a nightmare.
Adam should be returned to his biological mother as soon as possible.
No one can replace the warmth of a mother. Please help them.
Shamila.

How much longer are the so called 'people in charge,' including British Prime Minister Gordon Brown, going to let this family suffer? '
We do not intervene' is a cop out. The poor mother needs help and Adam could be scarred for life by this travesty of so-called justice.
Davida Nicholson.

Adam should be with his mother - it is where he should be and where he wants to be.
Cally Stephenson.

WE say, we insist, bring Adam back home!

The son wants to live with his mum! Please help. My friend in Bahrain knows the poor family.

Please act with urgency and give this case your full attention!
A 10-year-old boy has been in distress for over two months. Please do not wait until it is too late. Do something now. This is against Sharia law and against the laws of Qatar.
The British Embassy can demand some answers and it will shame local 'people of influence' to correct this extremely unjust situation.
Rula Al Chorbachi.

IT is totally unacceptable that Adam Jones should be taken from his mother - whatever the trickery, or faith, or any other influences that are involved. Please help all that you can.
Suzanne Gissing.

Every day that Adam is away from his mother is adding to his torment and could scar him for life. This case has outraged over 8,000 petitioners who demand justice now!
Jacki Murphy.

I feel sincere pity for the child being torn away from his familiar surroundings. What impact will all this have on his future?
Suzanne.

Adam needs to be with his mother, it is so very important that this nightmare is sorted out as soon as possible by the Qatari government and Adam comes back home where he belongs.

Dear Stan,
This is my 17-month-old boy. Last year, I sent out a picture of him on top of a Christmas tree for the holidays and this year we're in the Middle East so I'm sending this picture.
For parents who have travelled with their kids lately can back me up that the young ones can be pretty annoying on planes. But thankfully there is Ice Age. It's a great film. I don't know what they put in the animation but it gets babies hooked. They just sit there and watch. Amazing!
Maz Jobrani, by email.
Dear Stan,
I just wanted to say thank you to Marie-Claire for doing such a great piece on the cemetery (GulfWeekly, November 11-17). I have had a number of people come up to me and say what a great article it was.
