The LuLu Hypermarket in Riffa and Dana Mall are hosting a fun attraction for families with The Great Indian Festival.
A variety of trades, crafts and arts from the country will be showcased through the duration of the event. A spokesman said: "The event will give expatriates and Bahraini locals the chance to know more about India and its culture."
Traditional craftsmen are being flown in from India specifically for the event which will feature bangle making, glass blowing, puppet shows, marble inlay paintings, miniature paintings, instrumental music as well as clothing including bridal wear.
The event will also feature documentaries as well as cuisine from different parts of the country.
Ladies will be awarded with free bangles while the men and children can take home kites. The event will be held daily until February 6.
