Fraser Suites out to 'make a difference'

Fraser Suites Seef Bahrain formally opened its doors at the Seef Mall on Wednesday night making it the first Frasers Hospitality's property ever launched in the Middle East.

The event was held under the patronage of Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa, Minister of Culture and Information, and attended by Ali Saleh bin Al Saleh, chairman of the Shura Council, Wong Kwok Pun, Ambassador of Singapore to Saudi Arabia, dignitaries, businesspersons, officials and the media.

The suites offer fully-serviced accommodation for visitors and shoppers to the island as well, blending luxury and modern functionality for a comfortable experience.

The 19-storey building features 91 apartments with each floor accommodating just eight suites to ensure privacy and relaxation.

The designs range from quaint studios to stylish one and two bedroom suites along with spacious penthouses.

The apartments offer a distinctive decor with modern flavour including a wide selection of abstract and contemporary wall art dŽcor and elegant interiors with plush fixtures and fittings.

The dŽcor is inspired by natural elements as there are cascading waterfalls throughout the property.

Olivier Briand, general manager of Fraser Suites Seef Bahrain, said: "The 'Fraser Difference' is what puts Fraser Suites in a class of its own in the hospitality sector. Each apartment comprises a living room, fully-equipped kitchen with Schonwald porcelain and Sambonet cutlery, bedroom(s), dining room and study area. There is also a wardrobe, in-room personal safe and storage space in each apartment to cater to the needs of long-stay guests. Each apartment is equipped with a home entertainment system with satellite channels, state-of-the-art Bose entertainment systems, wireless broadband, iPod docking station and direct dial telephone with voicemail, each apartment is self contained with regard to communications and entertainment.

There is also dedicated parking space and high-end hotel services such as 24-hour reception, concierge, security and daily housekeeping.

Leisure facilities include an outdoor swimming pool with Jacuzzi, spa pools, sauna and steam rooms, plus a state-of-the-art panoramic gymnasium. Children have their own location - Fraser Kids' Club with a fun designed play room and wading pool.

The Gallery CafŽ, which offers sweeping views of the bay, features an extensive menu and is ideal for organising meetings, with its wi-fi internet coverage, large plasma TV screen and other amenities.
