BAHRAIN coach Peter Taylor, pictured below, is preparing his team to face Iran at Tehran’s Azadi Stadium described by football observers as the ‘most intimidating’ in the region.

The goal.com website’s Asian editor John Duerden said: “The Azadi is not just a stadium it’s an attitude; 100,000 men produce an atmosphere that has to be felt to be believed.”

Taylor said: “I think the players are more aware of Iran than I am and I am sure they are anticipating the welcome they will receive.

“However, at the end of the day, it is just a football pitch with regular people watching the game. Indonesia was a great atmosphere and I am expecting the same in Iran with fans supporting their team.”

The unbeaten teams clash on October 11 in a top-of-the-table World Cup qualifier.
