Volkswagen Middle East has launched the new Polo Sedan, bringing the first generation model to the Middle East.
The model is sleek, spacious and comfortable whilst being affordable, its makers say.
Available with a 1.6-litre 105 PS engine and a six-speed automatic transmission, the Polo Sedan includes 15-inch alloy wheels, dual airbags for driver and passenger, ABS and central locking with keyless entry.
“The new Polo Sedan is the perfect combination of German engineering with optimum comfort and driving characteristics,” said Marcus Butros, sales director, Volkswagen Middle East.
“It is the entry model into the Volkswagen portfolio and is aimed at a younger demographic who want to experience our German engineering.
“We see high potential for this model in the region, and one that will drive volume growth as we continue to be the fastest growing volume brand in the Middle East.”
The halogen headlights and indicators give extra emphasis to its look and provide optimum vision on the road. Fog lamps, ideal for sandstorms, are also a standard feature in the Polo Sedan.
The cockpit has a modern leather steering wheel, gear knob, handbrake lever and gear lever, a dashboard design with ergonomic control layout. It includes a radio with CD/MP3 player as standard.
The Polo Sedan is equipped with front airbags for the driver and co-driver along with a high strength steel frame.
