Sue Anderson Consultants (SAC), education consultants and UK boarding school specialists, met with more than 15 families of different nationalities including American, Bahraini, British, Danish, Indian and Pakistani who are considering boarding schools, as well as summer schools, in the UK.

Parents detailed academic and extracurricular preferences, raised concerns and discussed education issues with Sue Anderson and Sara Sparling to help find a suitable school match for their children.

Mrs Anderson said: “We met with many parents who are seriously considering the option of a UK boarding school place for their children to start in the next academic year, September 2013.

“Parents are reassured to hear that UK boarding schools offer a safe environment where children are given the opportunity to reach their full potential both academically and socially. Facilities are excellent, indoor swimming pools, equestrian centres and 300-seater theatres; there is also a wide range of extra-curricular activities offered.

“Most of the families we met with had done their homework in advance and came to discuss the best and most suitable option for their children.”

Families often consider the option of UK boarding for stability of education, the best route to a UK university and excellent learning support for children with educational challenges such as dyslexia, dyspraxia and ADHD.
