Intrepid reporter Mai Al Khatib was out on an assignment and pulled into a nicely-shaded parking area next to a police station before hot-footing it off to interview a dancer. When she returned 20-minutes later, a rather stern-looking officer asked her why she had parked her car in the Chief of Police’s parking space.

There was no sign, she exclaimed, ignoring the fact that several parked police cars were surrounding her. Can I see your CPR, the officer demanded?

He studied it for a few seconds, muttered ‘Jordanian’ and shaking his head knowingly walked away.
