Lulu Hypermarket is melting the hearts of its customers with a mouth-watering selection of bread and pastries fresh from its onsite bakeries.

Using the highest-quality ingredients its master bakers keep the hot ovens producing daily delights such as fresh bread and desserts from French bread, quiches and pizzas to cakes, tarts and pies. Health-conscious shoppers can also enjoy a host of diabetic friendly-baked goods.

Bhupati Pathak, Lulu’s baking supervisor at Ramli Mall, said: “We pride ourselves on offering our shoppers plenty of choice. Our aim is to serve fresh quality food that will keep customers coming back for more.

“We are also known for our catering services and take all kinds of special requests, such as to design a birthday cake or serve a savoury platter for any occasion.”

 At the moment, the bakery is taking part in the store’s Mango Mania promotion, offering mango peach tarts for 375fils, small mango pies for 490fils and even rising to the challenge of making mango bread for 275fils.

Ruqia Zulfiqiar, 38, a housewife, from A’ali, said: “I like the bakery for its freshness and its variety. It’s convenient, being close to my home, but even if it wasn’t I would shop at Lulu for its quality goods. There is always a great smell coming from the bakery side and its desserts are delicious.”
