Manama Theatre Club, a section of the British Club, presents Be My Baby, a play by Amanda Whittingdon, on June 24-27. It tells the story of four young girls whose lives have not gone to plan and are placed in a home for young mothers-to-be. The cast is led by Palmyra Mattner who plays Mary. Her fellow inmates are performed by Jenny Cairns, Hannah Lynch and Hayley Furness. The matron is played by Julia Doorne and the cast is completed by Rosemary Lee playing the part of Mary’s mother.
