Glitz and glamour was the highlight of Al Areen Palace and Spa’s three-day Ramadan Fashion festival staged at the hotel’s Nadwah ballroom.
The event kicked off with a two-day Fashion Bazaar and Exhibition just in time for Eid shopping, featuring an array of colourfully-designed jalabiyas, abayas, clothing for men and children as well as other accessories.
To conclude the bazaar, members of the media as well as invited guests were treated to a traditional ghabga and a fashion show exhibiting the works of different designers. While guests were serenaded by singers– Miraya Verma and Rayyan – who flew in from India for the special occasion, models took to the catwalk dressed in designs from Signs of Shaikha, Rajhar, Apachi and Royal Couture.
Cristina Fulgencio, senior public relations and marketing manager, said: “Al Areen Palace and Spa takes pride in hosting such events as the hotel is known for its luxurious and fashionable architecture and world class amenities.
“Likewise, it is also our goal to provide a platform for these young and talented designers, giving them more exposure in showing off their stunning creations.
