Knowledge Automobiles & Trucks (KAT) has witnessed significant growth in its car sales following the launch of Chery, one of the fastest growing car brands in China, into the UAE.
KAT, the automotive division of KM Holding, is the sole distributor of the Chinese car range, which includes sporty sedans, compact hatchbacks and powerful SUVs, all of which are leaving the forecourt at a rapid pace.
Already, Chery worldwide is predicting sales of 340,000 vehicles for 2007, with a sales goal of one million cars by 2010.

Affordable and packed with features, Chery brands offer great value for money, and we are very pleased with the interest shown by our customers,” said KAT general manager Ali Huang.
Developed with the help of Lotus Engineering and Mitsubishi Automotive Engineering, Chery makes a perfect second car option, and the vehicles are proving particularly popular with women drivers.
Described as ‘cute and spacious”, the Chery QQ four door hatchback is proving to be an ideal car for getting about town in, and with double folding seats there is plenty of room for shopping and the children’s school bags.
