One roll of paper that goes on the giant press equals 500 kilogrammes.
On a daily basis approximately 35 rolls are used for printing the various editions of daily newspapers at Dar Akhbar Al Khaleej, using 100kg of ink and around 18 tonnes of newsprint.
The smaller press that prints the glossy magazines, brochures, flyers is in a league of its own.
