Dear Stan, Reference 'Remember When' in last week's GulfWeekly and the photograph of Maskati Brothers.
The picture was actually taken in our old No. 2 factory that was built in the late fifties and featured one of our old employees and not, as captioned, the chairman of the group, Hussain Maskati.
Above is a photograph of my father who is still actively participating in business decision-making within the Maskati Group which now employs over 600 employees.
Kind regards,
Khalid H. Al Maskati,
Deputy Chairman &
Managing Director,

Dear Stan,
A really big thank you for all your help promoting our concert last Friday. Without the press on board it would have been impossible to fill over 500 seats, considering the number of other events on that weekend.
I really appreciate all your help with coverage.

Manama Singers.

Dear Stan,
This refers to last week's article 'Joys of parenthood' by Marie Clarie.
It was quite interesting to read. It is not only that parents also have something to learn from their children. In a family of father, mother, brothers and sisters - each has something to learn from the other from time to time.

Dear Stan,
Gulf for Good is inviting enthusiastic adventurers from across the region to join them for a charity challenge in Jordan from April 4 - 12, 2008.
Dubbed 'In the Footsteps of Lawrence', those taking part will hike, cycle and camel trek from the Dead Sea to the Red Sea via Wadi Mujib and Petra, and across Wadi Rum to Aqaba on this nine-day adventure.
Funds raised by participants will support The Noor Al Hussein Foundation in Jordan and the Health Work Committee's Qalqiliya Hospital in Palestine.
Funds raised will provide the Foundation with therapy equipment for mentally and physically challenged children and challengers will witness first-hand how their funds are positively changing the lives of those less fortunate.
Additionally, 'In the Footsteps of Lawrence' will provide essential funds to purchase vital medical equipment for the hospital in Palestine.
Challengers will need to raise a minimum sponsorship to take part, but no previous experience is necessary and free training sessions will be held.
Those interested shouldcall +971 4 3680222 or visit www.gulf4good.org

Dear Stan,
Awali Football Club Halloween was a huge success. Many thanks to the press coverage given by the media such as GulfWeekly.
We had about 100 children and adults enjoying the scary dungeon, the guillotine, the flying fox, graveyard hunt, beat the ghoulie and many more attractions. After the party the children went around Awali to do 'trick or treating'.
The AFC Halloween event is made possible by volunteer members and Awali residents.
Alfre, Awali
