FOR any Brits in Bahrain feeling a little homesick may The Whisperer remind them that motorists are already paying more than 103 pence a litre on forecourts in the UK and the Automobile Association has warned that the $4 increase in crude prices last week signalled even dearer fuel in the weeks ahead.

I’M still chuckling over the note sent to customers of National Hotel Services Co pleading with people to log on to its website www.nhscbahrain.com which read: “My thanks to the three of you who did in November and December, guys it’s costing me money so please use it.”

But things are looking brighter for poor Bill, as he added: “The mother-in-law will soon be heading back to Blighty which is good news.” I’m sure he’s only joking and will miss her when she has gone!
