St Christopher’s Cathedral is hosting a recital by the American pianist Jill Laping on April 30 at 6pm.
Her concert programme will include a number of well-known traditional and more contemporary gospel pieces and also the comedy piece C. S. Theme and Variations by Randall Compton. She will also be joined by Bahrain-based Belorussian pianist Eleonora Stanevich.

The annual celebration of Dutch culture, Oranjefeest, will be celebrated on May 1 with a party at Café Amsterdam, Adliya. Entry is for adults only, and will include Dutch food, beverages and music from both a live band and Dutch DJ Larush.
