Finding a spacious apartment is not as easy as it used to be, especially when you’re looking for a suitable family-sized home to rent.

Often apartments either have large bedrooms and small living areas or vice versa, you won’t easily find both. However, PropertyWeekly has discovered some modern, penthouse-style apartments located in the Tubli Bay area which might fit the bill.

The new Azalea Suites building features beautiful interiors and fine finishings designed with a comfortable family living environment in mind.

The three-storey building was designed by an Argentinean firm, originally for the company’s owner and entrepreneur, Ehab Faraj, and his siblings. He said: “We intended to live there in the future in order to be closer to our family home, but since we all have our own properties right now we decided to rent it out instead.

“We opted for a minimalist and contemporary design for a sleek, clean look. I lived in this area for seven years, so I think the location is great. It is in a quiet suburban area and is in close proximity to everything, thanks to the flyover. There are eateries around the corner along with supermarkets and a bakery nearby.”

The Faraj family did not compromise on the size of the development, as each of the apartments range between 240sq/m and 320sq/m.

There is one on every floor; two of which have the same layout. All apartments feature huge formal living and dining areas and large balconies with beautiful views of Tubli. The ground floor apartment does not have a balcony and the one on the second floor offers panoramic windows in the living and kitchen area.

Mr Faraj said: “We wanted to use the best quality materials for a lavish-style of living. The balcony doors, for example, are all designed with a UVPC aluminium material to help keep the apartment cool.

“The glass windows are also special because they take into consideration UV rays. You will get a lot of natural light while still keeping the interior cool.”

The kitchens are spacious and offer plenty of room for dining tables. There is a guest closet and a sizable maid’s quarter with an ensuite bathroom.

All apartments also include a private family living room, but only two of them have separate entrances.

The master bedrooms feature walk-in closets and ensuite bathrooms with a shower, tub or both. The other two bedrooms feature walk-in closets or built-in wardrobes and ensuite bathrooms with showers.

A unique feature within all of the apartments is that an extra room can be created in the private family area. This can be achieved by closing off a section of the room with a glass door or panel to create a study or a children’s play area.

The building features a security system in every residence, fire safety alarms, hydrants and censors, laundry facilities, a reception area with a watchman on hand along with cleaning and maintenance upon request.
As for parking, there are six shaded spaces, two for each apartment.
