Ali Al Kowari and playing partner Daij Khalifa won the penultimate competition of the six-week long Porsche Monday Madness Night Golf Series at the Royal Golf Club for the second consecutive week.
The on-form pair achieved a score of 24 in the two-player betterball Stableford and now sit in second place in the overall order of merit.
In a reversal of fortunes, the fourth week’s runners-up, Mohammed Akeel and Iftikhar Butt, came third while the third place pairing of Ahmed Mohammed Ahmed and Ali Al Hakam managed to take the runners-up spot.
Akeel and Butt top the series order of merit with 11 points. Nearest the pin side contests on holes 12 and 16 were won by Al Hakam and Tapan Vaidya, respectively.
Sohail Singh, the club’s tournament co-ordinator, presented the prizes on behalf of Porsche Centre Bahrain.
