The Bahrain British Business Forum (BBBF) recently organised a corporate social golf day at the Royal Golf Club Bahrain.

The event was part of the 200th anniversary of British-Bahraini relationship celebrations and was attended by British ambassador Simon Martin. Timothy Pounds, the US deputy chief of mission, also joined in as a guest. More than  players took part in the event which was played in the Teas cramble format.

The winning team, Sultans of Swing, comprising of Matthew Deakin, Ted Hillman, Aracelli Deakin and Gabriella Deakin, took the honours and drove off with vouchers for the  and over driving experience at the Bahrain international circuit, valued at , which was sponsored by euro motors.

The golf day was organized in partnership with the car dealers, Etihad Airways, AXA Insurance and Gulf Brands International.

The sponsors offered a number of prizes to the contestants with Euro Motors offering an unclaimed Hole in One Jaguar price on the 16th green. 

An Etihad Airways business class return ticket to the U was the main attraction in the presentation ceremony raffle draw won by Ben Johnson.
