Rob Lane won the Monday Night Lights competition at the Royal Golf Club with a nett score of 34. Samantha Hill clinched the runners-up spot for the second consecutive week with a score of 35 nett while Mohamed Akeel narrowly won third place on count back with a nett score of 36.

Around 30 golfers took part in the Rainbow Challenge individual strokeplay tournament which was played under floodlights on the back 9 holes of the Montgomerie championship course. The evening was rounded off with a prize presentation ceremony in the club’s Members’ Lounge.

The Monday Night Lights 9-hole competitions are open to club members and to non-members with an official handicap at a cost of BD18 per night green fee plus a BD2 entry fee. The competitions tee off with a 6.30pm shotgun start. Non-handicap golfers are also welcome to play and can use their scores to work towards achieving an official handicap.
