Klub 360 pulled off another hit attraction with rapper Tyga keeping fans upbeat and stomping their feet throughout Friday night’s racy F1 bash.
Last year, party-goers flocked to the club to watch Jamaican reggae star Sean Paul, and when word got out that the American celebrity would be gracing this year’s stage, tickets were snapped up even quicker.
The hotel was buzzing with an electric rave-like atmosphere thanks to an array of sparkling lights, glossy jaguar sculptures and giant dancing lighting fixtures that glowed in different colours.
As the house heaved this reviewer located a large TV screen and parked herself securely against a brick wall to watch the show.
With a puff of smoke Tyga appeared. The crowd screamed and smartphones lit up the dance floor as fans started snapping away. Others held up giant 360 glow-sticks to add to the atmosphere.
Although the dance floor filled up, no one seemed to care because Tyga took command by spitting rhyme after rhyme, putting dancers in a trance with hits like Faded, Deuces, Make it Nasty and Ice Cream Man.
Hanging onto a panther sculpture, I could see the star high-fiving fans through a mist and burst of streamers. The crowd sang along to his chart-topper Rack City and went even crazier when he belted out his recent hit Ayo.
Tyga captivated the audience for more than an hour – interactive and full of action. Little wonder Kylie Jenner has him as a beau. The model even featured in a stimulating little number on the backing video screened during the show.
