As a part of the Manama Gulf Capital of Tourism 2016 calendar, the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BETA) is celebrating the holy month by lighting up Bab Al Bahrain.
“We would like to welcome residents and tourists to the traditional Manama Souq during the month of Ramadan and we have decided to add some traditional flavour to the souq’s ambience,” said the CEO of BETA, Shaikh Khalid bin Humood Al Khalifa.
Bab Al Bahrain, one of the main tourist destinations in the kingdom, is now all decked-up with traditional Ramadan décor and lights in order to further promote the importance of the old traditional souq.
The venue will remain decorated throughout the entire month.
