AN impressive array of Hyundai SUVs have been unveiled by First Motors amidst a party atmosphere at its Mameer showroom.
Musicians played soft tunes, with the sweeping melodies of their instruments contributing to a relaxed occasion, supplemented by traditionally-attired gentlemen delivering coffee and other refreshments to guests.
Welcoming speeches followed and a video showing off the dynamic attributes of the cars before glamourous models pulled back the covers on the fab four, encompassing the 2019 iterations of the elaborate Santa Fe, the dynamic Tucson, the drive-ergonomic Creta and the very latest creation off the South Korean marque’s conveyor belt, the Kona.
Nawaf Khalid Al Zayani, MD of First Motors, said: “The Hyundai brand is based on the unique combination of dynamic, practical, attractive designs, outstanding performance and enhanced safety and security features.
“This SUV launch is a remarkable occasion in the history of First Motors as we are launching not one but four outstanding new SUV models to Bahrain’s market.
“This is a range of cars that will meet the needs and aspirations of a wide range of drivers. We are confident that they will make a positive impact on their daily lives.”
Hyundai’s mid-size SUV, the Santa Fe, features a wide and stable stance, Hyundai’s signature cascading grille, and a composite light design comprised of LED daytime running lights positioned on top of the LED headlights, showcasing grandiose and dynamic exterior design.
The expressive and powerful Kona, the newest model in Hyundai’s arsenal, adopts a future-oriented composite light design and a rugged bumper design named ‘Armour’, which is no doubt the reason why Kona has clinched numerous world-renowned design awards this year.
The dynamic Tucson stands out with its competitive pricing in the segments. Tucson comes with an enhanced look and design featuring a new front grille, front headlights, rear lights, alloy wheel design options ranging from 17-inch to 19-inch and a completely new interior with a more futuristic dashboard and new floating design screen in the centre. It also comes with two engine capacities; 2.0L and 2.4L.
The sub-compact Creta comes with new front and rear designs showcasing a new and more aggressive front radiator grille, new headlights, LED day running lights, new rear lights and new options for the alloy wheels. Other features include a smart key, engine start button, seven-inch display infotainment system, auto cruise control and more.
