THE VIVA Bahrain Manchester United squad returned home safely to the kingdom and the players and their guardians from the telecom company had a particular spring to their step after the journey from England.
At the conclusion of an intensive week’s training with the Premiership giant’s coaches, our boys and girls walloped their counterparts from Kuwait 6-2 making VIVA Bahrain the pride of the Gulf States.
The 20 kids, made up of Bahraini and expat 12-15-year-olds, were happy too. Shortly after the match a friend of The Whisperer spotted them spending a little ‘win bonus’ token of appreciation in the club shop!
