To give back or to make a simple kind gesture has become so much easier and fun with Thirst Quenchers. The Coca-Cola Bottling Company of Bahrain will begin its yearly distribution of Arwa water and Fanta Citrus to the labourers working during this unforgiving heat.

The Coca-Cola Bottling Company’s Thirst Quenchers’ annual summer distribution has been going strong for the past eight years.

What started as a small act of kindness has now turned into a moment of celebrating the people that truly help build our communities. Our volunteers from different backgrounds and ages, come together, meeting at the Coca-Cola plant to load up ice-boxes and their cars with drinks to distribute at sites.

Today the Thirst Quencher refreshed more than 720 workers and will be continuing for the next three weeks.

For those who are interested, you can send an email to duduziled@coca-cola.com.bh for more details.

With reference to Kristian Harrison’s recent glowing film review of Dunkirk and his five popcorn ‘start queuing’ verdict.

After all the hype of the film I watched it tonight and the script was that thin it could have been drafted on the back of a fag packet ... or tracing paper, and it could have been filmed on Blackpool seafront.
Please, people, don’t waste your money going to the flicks to see this utter rubbish.
