Pop star and Jonas Brothers’ member Nick Jonas will release his new solo album Sunday Best tomorrow.
The singer first teased the project last year while touring
with his brothers, Joe and Kevin. During the tour, he hosted an intimate event
titled the Sunday Best Brunch, where he announced the album and performed
several new tracks for just 170 fans.
Centred on themes of love, personal growth, and perspective,
the album explores his evolution as a musician as well as his life as a husband
to Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra and as a father to their four‑year‑old
daughter.
“I’m so excited to share these new stories, candid thoughts,
quiet walks home in the city, and snapshots of my life over these past few
years,” Nick said in a statement. “And while this album was made over the
course of the last two years, it was truly 33 years in the making,” the
33-year-old added.
Sunday Best marks Nick’s fifth studio album and his second
solo release during the Jonas Brothers’ current era, following 2021’s Spaceman.
During the band’s hiatus in the early 2010s, he put out Last
Year Was Complicated (2016) and his self‑titled album Nick Jonas (2014).
His debut solo record, Nicholas Jonas, was released in 2004, prior to the
formation of the band.
